Subject: Great show. Very good sound.
Starting with Mama tried, this show really takes off. Jerry plays great, the whole second set is terrific. Uncle John and Wharf Rat are all time versions. This is the better sounding of the two sources. (Fuller sound in the low end). Of note, the track listed as Mexicali Blues, also includes Mama Tried. The tracks before Mexicali need to be bumped up one. The track listed as Bucket, is actually a tuning track. Download now. Top 10 show for 94, maybe top 5.

Subject: The dance of timeless time
Fading into timelessness, after arising once more, is the celebration of a new year through Chinese traditions that encompass such transcendent joy I can just sit here and be in awe at the Grateful Dead's execution of such tradition. It is amazing, a rising and falling dance of timeless time. And all the songs within this show dance forth together! The Cosmic Charlie tease with its bouncing joyfulness.... as I sit and listen and feel the music in my heart, as I always do.... the praise however must not be purely in the music, but the wonderful people who bring it to us. This is an absolutely wonderful concert, and I find 94 to dance blissfully leading Jerry onward into the luminescence he shines beyond death... beyond time... a reflection of timeless time is shone forth. This music just twirls about with drums and dragons and dances intrinsically throughout our hearts. In no way I hope to undermine the beauty of this timeless tradition...
